Hohe Sprünge, Head Spins, Saltos, schnelle Kicks und schwindelerregende Drehungen: Der brasilianische Choreograf Bruno Beltrão und seine zehnköpfige Crew Grupo de Rua lassen Breaking, Hip-Hop und zeitgenössischen Tanz ineinanderfließen. Mit scharfem Auge für Komposition thematisiert Beltrão die turbulente politische Situation in Brasilien. New Creation bringt die aktuellen Konflikte und gewaltvollen sozialen Spannungen in seinem Herkunftsland auf die Bühne und greift dabei auf das athletische Bewegungsvokabular des Urban Dance zurück, das von fulminanter Ausdruckskraft und spielerischer Virtuosität geprägt ist.
