Laura Misch is a London-born saxophonist, singer-songwriter, electronic producer, and field recordistwhose practice is shaped by elemental themes, primal rhythms, and clouds of sound.
Her current work interweaves her three main voices; saxophone, singing, and synthesis, in new musicwhich will be performed and released in 2026. Expanding her electro-acoustic palette and drawing froma lineage of female pioneers in electronic music, Laura has been developing a show centered on theancient sounds of air, water and stone, which invites deep listening and contemplation through songsand sonic environments.
Her 2024 project Sample The Earth, named one of The Guardian’s ‘Top 10 Contemporary Albums of2024’, followed her acclaimed debut Sample The Sky and self-produced EPs Playground and LonelyCity. Together, these works form a rich body of music grounded in care and connection. Beyond thestudio, Misch hosts sound walks, creates ambient “cloud baths” in disused spaces, and collaborateswith eco-social design studio Holobiont to return her music to the natural environments that inspire it.Her recent Slow Tour was a visionary reimagining of live music touring, blending ecology, reflection, andcommunity, into a shared act of collective listening.
