Weihnachtliche und winterliche Musik aus vielen Ländern präsentiert das hr-Sinfonieorchester wieder in seinem beliebten Weihnachtskonzert für die ganze Familie: mal märchenhaft und besinnlich, mal virtuos und überwältigend. Mit einem Konzert für zwei Oboen, italienischer Opernmusik ohne Gesang, einer wohlbekannten Fernseh-Melodie von typisch barocker Prachtentfaltung, Hollywood-Filmmusik zum Träumen - und natürlich dem Nussknacker. Doch das Beste kommt zum Schluss, wenn in der Alten Oper der gemeinsame Chor aus 2.000 Stimmen Weihnachtslieder mit sinfonischer Begleitung anstimmt. Musikalisch geleitet von Vilmantas Kaliunas, wird „Christmas all over the World“ auch diesmal von hr3-Morningshow-Moderator Tobi Kämmerer begleitet.

The Frankfurt Radio Symphony once again presents festive and winter-themed music from many countries in its popular Christmas concert for the whole family: by turns magical and contemplative, and at other times virtuosic and breathtaking. Featuring a concerto for two oboes, Italian opera music without singing, a familiar television tune of typical Baroque splendour, dreamy Hollywood film music - and, of course, „The Nutcracker“. But the best is saved for last, when the 2,000-strong choir joins together at the Alte Oper to sing Christmas carols with symphonic accompaniment. Under the musical direction of Vilmantas Kaliunas, „Christmas all over the World“ will once again be hosted by „hr3 Morning Show“ presenter Tobi Kämmerer.
