A true voice of a generation, GRAMMY® Award-winning, Oscar nominated, Lagos, Nigeria-based singer, songwriter, and producer Tems announces her Born In The World 2024 global tour, beginning with a very special London headline at Eventim Apollo this June 12th. The tour announcement precedes her highly anticipated debut album Born In The Wild, releasing via Since '93/RCA Records this June 7th, and comes hot on the heels of both her highly-acclaimed Coachella debut and the release of brand new single, Love Me JeJe.
Ahead of her debut album release, Tems released two new songs Me & U and Not An Angel notably marking her first full-length releases since the If Orange Was A Place EP in 2021. Since its release, Me & U has amassed over 45 million streams and peaked at #34 in the UK Official Singles Charts while both songs have gone on to peak at #1 & #3 on the Official Afrobeats Charts.
With an outstanding 84 award nominations ranging from Grammys to Oscars & 32 wins (including a Grammy, MTV, ELLE UK Style, BET Award & the Breakthrough Award at Billboard's 2024 Women in Music), Tems is the first African woman to have five Billboard hits. Along the way, Tems has racked up over 300M YT views across her catalogue; she's covered the likes of ELLE UK, The Face, Dazed, GQ and The Cut; she starred in Burberry's Spring 2024 campaign; was named in Time Magazine's Next 100 & Forbes 30 Under 30; and won over admirers & collaborators including Kendrick Lamar, Dave, Tyla, Drake, Future, Rihanna, Justin Bieber, Doja Cat, Adele & Beyoncé.
