ELWOOD STRAY
Elwood Stray is a dynamic post-hardcore band hailing from Essen, Germany, established in 2016. After independently releasing a series of impactful singles, the band caught the attention of Out Of Line Music and signed with them in 2022. This partnership led to the release of three standout tracks that collectively amassed over 1.9 million streams on Spotify prior to the debut album's launch.
On June 30, 2023, Elwood Stray released their debut album, »Gone With The Flow,« via Out Of Line Music, which garnered over 6 million streams in its first year alone. In November 2024, the band unveiled »Evolve,« their first single following the »Gone With The Flow« album cycle.
Known for their high-energy riffs and infectious melodies, Elwood Stray delivers an electrifying live experience. They have shared the stage with numerous international artists, including Bad Omens, The Plot In You, The Ghost Inside, Landmvrks and The Word Alive. The band has also made notable festival appearances at Summerbreeze, Full Force, and Takedown (UK).
In 2024, Elwood Stray supported Novelists during their European tour across eight countries. Looking ahead, the band will join US metalcore powerhouse Stick To Your Guns for their European record release run in early 2025.
OUR MIRAGE
Eclipse
In 2020 our mirage made a clear statement with their second studio album »unseen Relations« and emphasized the overall affinity with every person that is afflicted with daily impairments of their mental health. After the successful release of the album, the band started their germany-tour in march in order to enjoy unique concerts with their fans. Due to the lockdown restrictions as part of the covid-19 pandemic the band was forced to end the tour after only 3 shows and was not able to play a liveshow for over a year...
Although the public life seemed to remain in a state of stillness, the band invested their time to work intensively on their third studio album. while the germany-tour was finally continued in may 2022, our mirage completed their work on the album »eclipse«.
compared to the two previous albums, our mirage found themselves in a new tuning and a powerful as well as mighty rocksound. it is noticeable that our mirage still addresses intimate and unseen emotional worlds. the textual focus is on the protagonist's journey to the awareness of one's own value and the meaning and potentials of love.
In relation to the universe, humanity seems to play a rather subordinate role, which is why many humans lose themselves in thoughts of the infinity of space. »Eclipse« goes beyond terrestrial borders and reveals the influences of love, trust and persistence in a seemingly endless solitude and emptiness of the galactic space.
Our Mirage refined themselves constantly in the 5 years of band history. especially the last 2 years lead to an identification in a new and more intense musical nuance. »Eclipse« proves that the band views the process of self-discovery as a rudimentary and obligatory part of human life, which makes it even more important to realize that nobody is alone with their individual problems - at no time!
