"Hallo, Berlin!" is an introduction to the internationally-renowned British soprano Elizabeth Llewellyn who has recently made her home in the city. During your evening at the iconic Musikbrauerei - which will include personal introductions and anecdotes from Elizabeth - you will hear arias from operas by Wagner, R. Strauss, Verdi, and Mozart, as well as beautiful songs by Puccini, Szymanowski, Dvorák, and Walton... plus a few musical surprises for the festive season!
She is joined on the piano by her frequent recital partner, Simon Lepper, who is Assistant Head of Keyboard (Collaborative Piano) at the Royal College of Music, London where he is also a vocal repertoire coach, and is an official accompanist for the BBC Cardiff Singer of the World Competition. He is a prolific and award-winning recording artist, and regularly performs all over world with artists such as Aida Garifulina, Gerald Finley, Benjamin Appl, Ilker Arcayürek.
