In the performance cut, percussionist Maria Luisa Pizzighella (Basel) and choreographer and dancer Julia Klockow (Freiburg) explore the tension between destruction and production. Away from the logic of everyday life, the act of cutting becomes a precursor for transformative processes. They understand clothing as social skin. The relationship between body and scissors as well as textile and musical layers creates an energetic and at the same time vulnerable dance.
On the occasion of D.O.O.M @DELPHI_space, they develop material from the dance piece tell.me.sth.new! (premiere October 2024) and relate it to the exhibition.
