Joe Cocker - The Tribute - Matinee Show

Der Sänger Cees Geluk wurde ein großer Fan von Joe Cocker, nachdem er ihn 1969 in Woodstock gesehen hatte. Von da an verfolgte er die Karriere dieses großen Künstlers sehr aufmerksam und rief bald seine eigene Imitation ins Leben: die Dutch Joe Cocker Show. Da seine Stimme eine natürliche Ähnlichkeit mit dem typischen rauen Cocker-Sound hat, begann er bald, live aufzutreten. Auf einer Party, bei der auch einige Musiker anwesend waren, kam es zu einer Jam-Session und die JoeUnderCover Band war geboren. Die neue Band nahm einige Coversongs in einem Studio auf und von da an sang Cees live als The Dutch Joe Cocker. Lead Singer Cees Geluk became a big fan of Joe Cocker, after seeing him in Woodstock (the movie, 1969). As from that moment on, he followed very carefully the career of this top artist and very soon creates his own imitation: the Dutch Joe Cocker Show. Because his voice has a natural resemblance with the typical rough Cocker Sound, he started very soon with live performances. During a party, where some musicians also were present, a jam session took place and the JoeUnderCover Band was a fact. The new band recorded some cover numbers in a studio and from that moment on Cees sings live as The Dutch Joe Cocker.
