FEAR LESS HOPE -OST-WEST DIALOGE. Four artists were invited to contribute to the German-Armenian exchange project and travelling exhibition FEAR - LESS - HOPE: Framing Time, reflecting on how fear and hope coexist in a world shaped by crises, change, transformation, and experiences of both distance and closeness. Their works are not about optimism or threat alone, but rather about the liminal spaces where one can shift into the other. Each artist approaches the theme from a perspective rooted in personal experience and background. The exhibition presents three video works and one interactive performance, drawing on sources as diverse as private archives, internet platforms, YouTube channels of Syrian rebels, and a German city archive. The accompanying Artist Talk will address how the work with video, images and archives finds its way into the artworks, how it shapes new perceptions of history and future and how artistic practices can open spaces of reflection between vulnerability and resilience. Vahram Aghasyan, Greta Harutyunyan, Anas Kahal, and Johannes Weilandt will discuss these and related questions with the curatorial team. Sprache: Englisch. Eintritt frei. Fotos: privat.
