HAKAN
Hakan formed in 2014 in Bergamo, a town in the very North of Italy, by guitarist Andrea Carminati, bass player Andrea Facheris and drummer Marco Facheris. All of them share singing and songwriting duties. They released four albums (the fifth one is in the making) and one 7. Played Europe several times, USA, Canada and Turkey.
Their music incorporates the right amounts of punk, power pop, garage, melodic songwriting and brilliantly stupid lyrics. Short and lightning-fast pieces (which rarely reach two minutes), double voices, infectious choirs, flat guitars and many greetings. Among my favorite pieces (okay, it would be easier to say: all of them) are «King of Edonè», «They don't like it», «Pita for breakfast» and «Hangover girl».
Some might say Hakan are Bergamo/Italy's Garage punk band #1 .playing a killer mix of garage punk and power pop. Think early Marked Men with a snottier edge, Radioactivity, Kidnappers, even Mind Spiders! Coincidence? Well...,the Bergamo based group has a lot in common with the Texas bands: first the taste for acidic and melancholic melodies and then the unhealthy tendency to pop-punk with a thousand per hour. Nevertheless, the Hakan remain the Hakan and don't miss a beat on their records!!
DEAF LINGO
Deaf Lingo began in 2015 as a bedroom solo project and soon evolved into a full band with the desire to perform live.
Their first EP, Split Pee (2015), features three tracks marked by a chaotic sound and heavy distortion, recorded at home with limited gear and makeshift equipment.
Two years later, they released their debut album Bug (2017) on One Chord Wonder and Fatty Liver Records, showcasing a raw, lo-fi sound.
Over the years, the band has been active on the live circuit, touring extensively in Italy and across Europe. Quelle: Veranstalter
